We need your collaboration

We need your collaboration in order to build a better hardware foot controller board device. We have made prototypes are if you're interested to help in making and selling foot controller board based on LJ U12, contact us! At the moment, we are activatly looking for:

• An empty foot controller board, to put hardware inside. This box must have the 1U format (easy to carry in flycase).
• Somebody competent to make simple electronic circuit to handle input encoder (to have a lot of buttons), and to protect leds.
• Distributors interested to distribute this hardware.

• You need to install a kernel extension into /System/Library/Extensions, in order to have LJ U12 recognized by your system. Without this, your application will crash - we haven't any solution for this.
• Then, you need LJ Controller object into your Max/Msp externals folder.
• You can also have a LJ Controller stub. This empty object is usefull to replace LJ Controller; it will do nothing - It has the same inputs/outputs as the regular object. This is particularly usefull if you distribute your application to users who aren't using LJ U12. This object also solve some rare case of application crash when trying to use LJ U12 when it is not present.
• Example patches: the player example plus some extra example to quickly build your patches using LJ Controller.

Requirements: LJ Controller with LJ U12 has been tested only with Mac OS X 10.3 and Mac OS X 10.4, with Max/Msp 4.5.4
